Momme is the unit of measurement for the density of silk fabric. At 19 momme, silk is light but fragile: it does not withstand repeated washing well and quickly loses its softness. Above 25 momme, it gains in thickness at the expense of breathability and feel. 22 momme is the recognized balance point in the premium textile industry: dense enough to last, fine enough to glide over hair and skin without any roughness. Combined with Grade 6A—the highest classification for mulberry silk—it guarantees a perfectly homogeneous surface of rare regularity.

Designed for textured hair, beneficial for skin

Usage tips
  • No need to wash too frequently — mulberry silk is naturally antibacterial.
  • Machine wash:use the wool/silk program, at 30°C maximum. Prefer a special silk detergent. Never use spin or tumble dry.
  • Hand wash:rub gently without forcing. Do not wring — gently press to remove excess water.
  • Drying:air dry, inside out, in a ventilated area. Do not expose to direct sunlight. Hang without folding to avoid creases.
