Our hair is particularly fragile and can easily be damaged by rubbing on a cotton pillow.

This is true for all hair textures and even more so for curly to crimped hair. Indeed, the cotton absorbs the natural hydration of the hair and the friction weakens it. To prevent the risk of breakage, you can opt for a satin scarf or bonnet... but if staying glamorous is a prerogative, you should consider acquiring this accessory :)
