Ultra-mild cleansing agents and vegetable glycerin: cleansing without stripping

The vast majority of cleansing gels on the market—even those marketed as gentle—rely on sulfated surfactants (SLS, SLES) that strip the skin's natural hydrolipidic film, causing dryness and skin reactivity. Zawadi Gentle Cleansing Gel breaks with this logic: its cleansing base is exclusively composed of mild, plant-derived surfactants, chosen for their ability to remove impurities and excess sebum without altering the skin barrier. Vegetable glycerin plays a central humectant role during washing—it attracts water molecules and retains them in the skin, compensating for the slight inevitable water loss during cleansing. The result: clean skin that never feels tight, an intact skin barrier, and skin that remains soft even after repeated baths.

The Anti-Itch® complex in a cleansing product: protecting while cleansing

The integration of the patented Anti-Itch® complex into a cleansing gel is one of Zawadi's key innovations. Where most cleansers simply remove impurities, Zawadi Gentle Cleansing Gel also cares for the skin during washing. Sacred date seed oil (Phoenix dactylifera L.) provides its repairing and antioxidant properties, mango butter (Mangifera indica seed butter) protects the skin from dryness thanks to its emollient fatty acids, and watermelon oil (Citrullus lanatus seed oil) nourishes and soothes—especially itchy skin. Together, these active ingredients form a protective film that remains active throughout rinsing and in the minutes following the bath.

Does not sting eyes, easy to rinse: the criteria that truly matter

For parents of young children, two criteria are non-negotiable when choosing a cleansing gel. The first: it must not sting the eyes—inevitably, product comes into contact with the eyes during bathing.
