Usage tips

BEFORE APPLYING AS I AM CURL COLOR

  1. Clean your hair using the As I Am shampoo or Cowash.
  2. Spray generously the As I Am JBCO spray water on your hair.
  3. Apply the Leave-in As I Am Classic or the leave-in JBCO before coloring.
  4. Lightly dry your hair with a amicrofiber towel.

    Hair should be damp (not wet) before applying Curl Color (to avoid color transfer).

    Use gloves to apply the color.

APPLYING AS I AM CURL COLOR

  • Separate your hair into sections and apply to still damp hair from roots to ends.
  • Use a generous amount depending on hair thickness and desired result.
    For vibrant color, apply until color is visibly bright and saturated on your hair (before drying).
    For a subtle look, apply a small amount to each strand or section of hair.

  • Style your hair as desired.
  • Dry your hair with a Stylingo or a diffuser tip on your hair dryer, or let air dry (allowing extra time). or a handheld diffuser to completely dry your Curl Color application (to prevent color transfer).

ADVICE

  • For maximum color longevity, consider wearing a bonnet at night to avoid any potential transfer to your pillowcase or bedding.

  • Final results may vary depending on the underlying pigment(s) in your hair.

  • We recommend doing a strand test before applying Curl Color for anyone with colored, treated or bleached hair.
