Sapodilla: the Caribbean oil with deep nourishing properties

Sapodilla (Pouteria sapota) is a tropical fruit from the Caribbean whose seeds yield a valuable oil naturally rich in omega-9. Unlike many vegetable oils that simply sit on the surface, sapodilla oil penetrates the hair shaft and works from within. It fills the lipid deficiencies of dry and frizzy hair, restores its suppleness and elasticity, soothes sensitive scalps, and stimulates hair growth. In this hair milk, sapodilla butter is combined with plum kernel oil — a rare oil with exceptional restorative properties — and grapeseed oil, which is light and rich in antioxidants.
