The Tropical Detox formula is built around three complementary natural purifying active ingredients. Banana extract (Musa acuminata fruit extract) is rich in potassium and amino acids that nourish the hair fiber during the clarifying process — the treatment doesn't just cleanse, it nourishes at the same time. Kaolin clay (Kaolin) is the gentle clay of choice in cosmetics: its microporous particles absorb excess sebum, toxins, and impurities without stripping the fiber, unlike more powerful montmorillonite clays. A clarifying treatment that dehydrates the lengths is a clarifying treatment that misses its objective. Les Secrets de Loly has incorporated a natural humectant complex derived from birch (xylitylglucoside, anhydroxylitol, xylitol) and agave syrup (agave tequilana leaf extract) into Tropical Detox, which maintains the hydration of the fiber throughout the clarification process. Flax seeds (Linum usitatissimum seed extract) and chia seeds (Salvia hispanica seed extract) complete this complex with their natural mucilages that envelop the fiber in a protective moisturizing film. Result: hair is purified and cleansed, but never dry or rough.

Four rituals in one product: from monthly washing to hair transition

The great originality of Tropical Detox is its total versatility. As a monthly clarifying ritual, it is applied to damp hair, left on for 10 to 20 minutes, then rinsed before shampooing — to remove all accumulated residue and reset the hair. As a purifying ritual for sensitive scalps, it is used after shampooing as a purifying mask for 10 to 20 minutes — 97% of testers found their hair purified after 28 days. As a hair transition ritual, for chemically treated hair that is gradually regaining its natural texture, it is applied every 7 to 10 days for 2 and a half months. Produit liquide ++ qui ne mousse pas du coup lorsqu’on ne s’y connaît pas on a tendance à en mettre ÉNORMÉMENT et a vider le pot en a peine 2 voir 3 utilisations ce qui peut irrité au vu du prix. Mais franchement il fait le travail nettoie en profondeur les cheveux et le cuir chevelu. Je rachèterai

Ce shampooing a une très bonne odeur et a l'air de bien nettoyer le cuir chevelu et tous les résidus mais est extrêmement liquide et on ne peut exploiter celle-ci correctement sans perdre de la matière. Dommage vu le tarif élevé proposé...

J'aime bien sa texture liquide qui le rend facile à appliquer. J'avais peur qu'il coule, une fois posé : ce n'est pas le cas.
Mais contrairement à ce qui est indiqué, on ne peut pas "sauter l'étape de l'après-shampoing" après ce soin, sous peine d'avoir les cheveux très secs.

Ce soin a « sauvé » mes cheveux, les produits ne pénétraient plus à cause de l’accumulation de produits et donc mes boucles n'étaient plus aussi jolies. Depuis mes cheveux sont tout légers et vraiment doux, ce soin marche vraiment bien ! J’ai retrouvé ma texture à son apogée.
