Shea Moisture 's Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthening Gel is a strong hold styling gel specially formulated to define, structure and hold curls, waves and kinky textures without stiffness or residue.

Enriched with Jamaican black castor oil and fair trade shea butter, it helps strengthen the fiber, limit breakage and control frizz, while respecting the natural suppleness of the hair.

Use after your leave-in conditioner to seal in moisture and achieve lasting definition.

Its strong hold allows you to structure even the most demanding styles – from well-defined wash-and-gos to sleek, controlled hairstyles. All this without sticky residue or a heavy feeling on the hair fiber.

This gel combines the richness of Jamaican black castor oil, known to strengthen and nourish weakened or brittle hair, with that of fair trade shea butter, which intensely moisturizes and helps prevent breakage.

The addition of natural extracts, such as peppermint, provides a fresh and invigorating sensation upon application.

Its alcohol-free formula respects the health of the hair, while providing lasting control of frizz and enhancing the natural shine of curls.

This gel is particularly suited to 3A to 4C textures, including those that have been colored, straightened or chemically treated, offering a robust hold while preserving the suppleness and elasticity of curls.

After washing your hair with a suitable shampoo and applying a conditioner or moisturizing mask, divide your hair into sections.
Soak your hair with a microfiber towel and apply your leave-in conditioner to damp hair
Then apply a small amount of the jelly to each section, focusing on the lengths and ends.
Work your curls using a technique like thefinger coilingor thescrunchingfor optimal definition.
Dry your hair with a diffuser, alternating between hot and cold air to set your curls. Don't let your hair get wet to avoid frizz or breakage.
